Why do we use these ingredients?

Shea Butter

Shea butter is a skin superfood that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. The natural vitamins and fatty acids in Shea butter make it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It's a great remedy dry skin, eczema, naturally helps collagen production, improves skin elasticity, reduces Inflammation, helps ward off stretch marks and to help protect the skin’s natural oils.

Hemp Seed Oil

Sugar

Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) seed oil is processed from the seeds of the hemp plant and contains a wide variety of health benefits. The oil is produced from the seeds of the Cannabis plant, BUT it does not contain THC, the psychoactive chemical in the cannabis plant. Not only is hemp oil rich in vitamins A and E, it also contains important minerals like potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium and phosphorus. Hemp seed oil is full of omega-3 and 6 which is a great healing factor for psoriasis. It also hydrates the skin and brings more oxygen to it, great treatment for eczema and dry, itchy skin. Hemp oil can also bring down the redness and irritation of acne outbreaks and over time help eliminate acne. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t block the pores but will actually help the skin balance oil production. Hemp HEALS
Sugar is a popular ingredient for body scrubs because it has round edges on the granules, which doesn’t cut the skin. Sugar is a better option for people who have sensitive skin. Sugar scrubs will dissolve easily in hot water and it also melts with heat. It won't leave the skin feeling coated or grimy. Sugar also won't dry out the skin, so it’s a good option for people who have (naturally) dry skin.
Coffee (scrub) has several benefits including: exfoliating and anti-inflammatory properties, temporary reduction of cellulite, improved circulation, reduced eye puffiness, and smooth skin. Coffee scrubs combined with salt, sugar, and oils that leave your skin nourished and moisturized rather than just cleansed. Along with the amazing exfoliation that coffee scrub provides, it also has another secret weapon for your skin: caffeine. We all know the benefits that caffeine has on the mind and body when we drink coffee, but the less we know the benefits are in effect when we apply it to our skin. Caffeine helps tighten the skin, which can help reduce cellulite. When applied under and around the eyes, it can minimize the appearance of puffy eyes, caffeine restricts blood vessels, which reduces swelling and inflammation. It can also help treat non-hereditary dark circles under the eyes. Caffeine is also loaded with antioxidants, which help to fight premature skin aging like wrinkles, sun spots, and fine lines.
